As a mother of three kids who have all been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, I find myself overwhelmed at times to keep up with them!

I literally have to force myself to slow down, to soak in a hot tub or to simply unwind by reading an excellent book at the end of a chaotic day, while sipping hot, herbal tea.

I loved this topic about "being in the moment!" Mostly because I feel that I am being pulled in a million different directions and everyone is demanding for my attention.

You gave very sensible, helpful and encouraging words regarding taking the time to nurture and care for oneself. I really needed to remind myself once again to slow down and take the time to smell the flowers!

Hi Stephanie! I always appreciate your comments and sharing. =) It always takes awhile to learn something new especially something like "being in the moment". When we've been used to "wandering aimlessly" as you put it (and I can relate) it takes time and effort to capture our thoughts and create new positive ones.

Sound like you're doing pretty good in this department. Good for you!!

Hugs back at ya! =)

You are absolutely right, Shileen! Being in the moment is such a simple step that will add so much to your life. In my case, it took me awhile to get to this point....because I was in the habit of "wandering aimlessly", as I believe many of us have at times, it took awhile to train my brain to look for the "why"...."why am I here?"...."why am I doing this?"....and even sometimes, "why me?". We all have a purpose, learning to "be in the moment" can and will help you realize your purpose and life will start making more sense. Or at least it did for me.

Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge, when I need a good reminder I can count on you. You are much appreciated, my friend!
