Stephanie! Thank you! It is always so good to hear from you.

We all need a place to go to get away from it all. I love your example. There's a small lake in our township where I go and do that very thing. It's such a blessing. I've worked through many issues and have celebrating many thing there. It's a special place no doubt!

Thanks for sharing. We have to connect one of these days! =)

Shileen, you never cease to amaze me, girl! Great post!

What brings me joy? Sitting with my notebook and pen in hand in my favorite corner of the pond...it's so beautiful there no matter what season it is. I sit quietly sometimes with my eyes closed and absorb all the nature sounds surrounding me (crickets, birds, frogs, fish splashing)...sorta sounds like a natural orchestra sometimes, lol. Sometimes in my life I have been so busy, doing this, that, and the other....and seem to get lost in all the commotion. This activity always seems to relax me as it allows me to reconnect to nature and realize the daily blessings in my life.

Shileen, you are one of the blessings. I will never forget the first phone conversation we had and how much that helped me. Thank you for truly caring and for listening!
